Virtual Thursday – August 6

Our third Virtual Thursday episode will feature Choral Music and Composing. John Hughes, director of the GLFM Composer Residency program, will interview our 2020 featured composer Elaine Hagenberg, and director-designate Sam Handley will interview Paul Dietrich, composer and leader of the Paul Dietrich Jazz Ensemble, the 18-piece big band that was going to be our 2020 season finale concert. Both interviews will feature plenty of wonderful music, as well. The video will be visible starting on August 6 at 7 p.m., and will remain up through the end of September.

Join us for a Meet-the-Artists Reception following the Virtual Thursday video via the magic of Zoom. The reception is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and will last for approximately a half hour. The event is free, but pre-registration is required. Click here to register.
