The Green Lake Festival Chamber Music Camp in Central Wisconsin is a student experience that is truly one of a kind. The world-class musicianship and dynamic personalities of the faculty are combined with true caring for each student.
Under the direction of cellist Tom Rosenberg, the Chamber Music Camp provides advanced study and practice, as well as performance opportunities to pre-college and college-aged students of violin, viola, cello and piano.
The camp includes daily coaching, master classes by faculty and guest artists, and numerous performances in Festival concerts in the historic Thrasher Opera House and other venues.
The camp is open to college, graduate, and pre-college (grades 7-12) string and piano students, individually or in pre-formed groups. Enrollment is limited and early application is strongly encouraged.
Participants receive free tickets to all Green Lake Festival of Music (GLFM) Concerts by faculty and guest artists. They are featured performers in the Student Chamber Music Celebration Concerts at the end of each week and in the Circle of Sound String Chamber Orchestra with the faculty. Venues include Green Lake’s historic Thrasher Opera House, the Green Lake Conference Center, and the Demmer Recital Hall, Ripon College.
All students stay in air conditioned rooms, overlooking the lake, with private bathrooms. All meals will be provided.

The nonrefundable application fee pays for the administration of the application and the development of the student groups for the camp. Therefore should you choose before April 15th to withdraw from attending, tuition will be refunded minus the early bird discount ($200 application fee is non-refundable) and a $200 administrative fee. After April 15th, 50% of total tuition and room/board will be refunded, and after May 15th, there will not be any refund. If there is a family emergency (not vacation), this policy may be reviewed on an individual basis.
