August 3-14, 2005: The Atlantic Provinces: Nova Scotia , New Brunswick , Quebec and Montreal

Experience the music, history and culture of the Atlantic Provinces of Canada with the Green Lake Festival Chamber Choir under the direction of Dr. Kirin Nielsen, assistant professor of music and director of choral activities at Ripon College , and Maria Dietrich, administrative director of the Green Lake Festival.

The Green Lake Festival Chamber Choir enjoyed a highly successful tour of Austria , Hungary and the Czech Republic in 2003; Ireland in 2001; and has also toured Italy , England , Wales , Scotland , and Poland .

Anyone who can sing is invited to join in the adventure, as are friends, spouses, and significant others. Email us at office@greenlakefestival.org if you're interested. Don't delay– space is limited!

Itinerary includes:
Halifax with its beautiful gardens and Maritime Museum with artifacts from the Titanic
Picturesque Atlantic fishing villages including Peggy's Cove
Folk music and history in the Acadian Peninsula
400-year-old historic city centers of Quebec and Montreal
Spectacular cathedrals and basilicas
Atlantic Seafood, Canadian traditional “Sugar Pie” and maple syrup
French and other international cuisine in Quebec and Montreal
4-6 Choral performances featuring Celtic-Acadian-French music
Approximately $2,400 per-person double occupancy; $2,800 single
