Green Lake Festival of Music

FREE Family Concert Series

This series of three, 45-minute concerts is suitable for ages 5-95.  Families are encouraged to take advantage of the related activities taking place in area libraries.  Concerts are free, and no tickets are necessary.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  Seating begins at 1:00 p.m.; concerts start at 1:30 p.m.

Peter & the Horn:  Quadre Horn Quartet

Our hero, Peter travels far and wide meeting some extraordinary musicians with strange instruments--an alphorn, hose horn, natural horn, and a modern horn.  Along the way, he learns how music is like a language.

Celtic Breeze:  Laura MacKenzie & the Lads

Learn how air is transformed into music on a fascinating variety of traditional wind-powered instruments and what makes the slow airs, dance tunes, and songs "Celtic."

The Traveling Fiddle:  The Jeremy Kittel Band
Friday, July 16, Boston Barn, Green Lake
Travel the world from Celtic fiddling to chamber music to jazz & blues.
